You were paying attention in class, listening to the teachers instructions.
"Boring!" A kid yelled behind you, and everybody laughed.
"Knock it off already," you mumbled.
The bell rang, you grabbed your stuff and went to your locker. You put your stuff in and threw on your coat and closed your locker. You jumped to see that kid Elroy standing there, leaning agence the other locker.
You rolled your eyes and started walking the other way, he ended up running in front of you and walking with you.
"What do you want, Elroy?" I asked.
"Wow, you actually know me." He chuckled.
"Kind of hard not to when you are bugging me this moment."
"Why not give me a chance? Maybe we could be friends?"
"Yeah, um, I'm going to have to pass." You tried walking quicker, and so did he.
"Why?"
"I'm not the bad-boy dating type of girl."
"Really, so what's the worst thing you've ever done?"
"Just go away," you jumped in your car and drove off.
You checked your facebook, one add, two messages. One from Mom saying, "Hello dear. How's school?" You don't live with her, you live with your Dad. Your parents split up when you were 10. Another from Elroy ... saying, "Hey. Why won't you talk to me?" And the add, Elroy, of course. You message your Mom back saying, "Good. Getting excellent grades! <3" Elroy, you delete his friend request and the message he sent. You want nothing to do with that boy. After dinner you checked your facebook again, Elroy's add was back. So was a message, "Message me back." Elroy. Why won't he leave you alone?

You get dressed and put your pony tail up. You grab your books and head for school. You open your locker to a note falling to the ground, you pick it up. On the front it reads Elroy. You stare at the note, crumple it up and toss it back behind you.
In class, Elroy kept giving you notes and you just pushed it off the desk.
It's now lunch time, you're sitting alone at a small table in the back. You forgot to study last night so you have a few history books open and eating along the way. Out of no where, Elroy joins you.
"Why won't you give me a chance?" Elroy asked.
"Because you're the bad type of guy. I don't take interest in those type of people." You realize what you just said, "I mean, I don't feel like getting in trouble or changing my personality for knowing certain people."
"Hm, what if you were to teach me your ways of being so nice, polite and who studys?" He closes one history book.
"You start by opening a book," I open it back up. "Go to a page, and read."
"Nice and polite?"
"Compliments, no rude jokes. No farting or burping, and if you slip one out, use manners."
"Thank you and excuse me?"
"Yes."
"I never really wanted to be this way ... I just turned this way when my parents split up.."
"I didn't take my parents divorce well either..." You admitted and looked at his dark green eyes. You are a sucker for green eyes... "Maybe we do have a few things in common..."
"I actually used to study, be polite, but I wanted attention so I became who I am today."
I chuckled, "You're serious?"
"Yup. Completely serious. But I wanted friends..."
"I know what you mean, except I'm the opposite."
"I remember, you were me, and I was you. Now, it's the other way around."
"Yeah, I just wanted away from others... Not attention."

Months go by, and Elroy becomes him old self. He gets good grades now, no rude jokes. No recent fights.
"Just a wonder...____, would you like to go out with me? Like on a date..." Elroy asked nervously.
You chuckle and say, "Would I like to? No. Now would I love to? Yes."
He laughed with a grin, "You're too cute."
You smile back, "You know it. Pick me up Saturday at eight? Unfortunately my Dad doesn't like me going out with guys after eleven."
"Of course. Protective Dad," he chuckled.

You tried on quite a few dresses, enough to fill up your floor. You put on one last dress and you looked in the mirror. "Perfect," you whispered. ([polyvore]) (Hair- [braun_der_friseur_curly_hair])
"____, your date's here!" your Dad shouted.
"Coming," you came downstairs. Elroy was a few feet taller than my dad. You tried not to chuckle.
Elroy was wearing a nice suit, loose tie with his vans.
"See you before eleven," your Dad gave you a hug.
"Bye Dad," you said as I left. Elroy and I jumped in his car. "I'm not dressed too fancy ... am I?" I asked him. "I've never been on a date... Not even had a boyfriend..."
"You look gorgeous," Elroy smiled. "Very beautiful, stunning, however you would like to word it. I think the word all-of-the-above works perfectly."
You blushed with a smile, "So, where are we going?"
"I'm not telling."
"Awe, okay.."
He pulled up to a restaurant. "We going in?" You asked.
"Nope," Elroy took your hand and brought you to the roof top. About six tables was up there.
"Do you have a reservation?" The waiter asked.
"Rick," Elroy said.
"Nah, I'm just kiddin'. Come this way," Rick directed you guys to a table. Elroy helped you into your chair.
"Thank you, Elroy. Such a gentlemen," you smiled at him.
"Thank you," he sat down and you guys took your order.

You and Elroy were in front of your place, you knew your dad was watching. But you didn't care.
"Since the prom is in about ... two, three weeks ... would you like to go with me?" Elroy asked.
"Definetly," you grinned. You two ended up having a few kisses.
"Night, ____. See you tomorrow," Elroy waved and walked away. You went inside with a big smile on your face.

(Yes, I skipped a lot of the parts.)
You watched your Mom put curls in your hair.
"My baby girl is getting married today, how old are you again?" She asked.
"Mom, I'm twenty six." You replied.
"And I'm already a grandmother too," your Mom shred a tear.
"____ and ____ are still toddlers." You tell her. (You can name the babies)
"But they're twins, isn't it hard watching them?"
"Yes, but it's okay. Elroy and I are in love, and I love him to pieces. Which is why today we are getting married."
People walked down the isle, you and Elroy did the vows.
"You may kiss the bride," the priest told you two.
Elroy gave you a kiss with a beautiful smile you loved.
You guys ran out of the church holding hands.
